PJSC «Mosenergo» increased electricity production in 1H 2019 by 6.8%

PJSC «Mosenergo» stated operational results for the 6 months of 2019.

Power plants of the Company produced in 1H 2019 32.32 bln kWh of electricity — 6.8% more than in 1H 2018 (30.27 bln kWh). This growth was the result of equipment in repair composition changes in reporting period, decline in emergency repairs and obligations to provide safety of energy system in the period of high outside temperatures in accordance with dispatch schedule of System Operator.

Heat output from CHPPs, local and district heat stations of «Mosenergo» decreased by 9.3% year-on-year, down to 43.51 mn Gcal (47.98 mn Gcal in 1H 2018) due to higher outside temperature in 1H 2019.
