Mosenergo increased electricity production in 2019 by 3.1%

Mosenergo stated operational results for the 2019.

Power plants of the Company produced in 2019 60.11 bln kWh of electricity — 3.1% more than in 2018 (58,32 bln kWh). This growth was the result of production optimization and obligations to provide safety of energy system in accordance with dispatch schedule of System Operator.

Heat output from CHPPs, local and district heat stations of Mosenergo decreased by 8.4% year-on-year, down to 75.37 mn Gcal (82.29 mn Gcal in 2018) due to higher outside temperature in 2019.
