PJSC “Mosenergo” increased electricity production for 13.9% and heat output for 20.1% in 2021
The power plants of Mosenergo produced 62.0 bln kW∙h of electricity in January-December of 2021 — 13.9% more than in the same period of 2020 (54.4 bln kW∙h) due to higher equipment load factor, growth of electricity consumption and lower outside temperature during to heating period (HP) 2020–2021 and 2021–2022 and early start of HP in September of 2021.
Heat output from power plants collectors and district and local heat stations of Mosenergo amounted 89.2 mn Gcal, 20.1% higher than in the same period of 2020 (74.3 mn Gcal). The growth of heat output linked with sustainable cold weather and longer duration of heating periods.

Mosenergo heating capacity amounts to 43.8 thous. Gcal/hr.
