Mosenergo increased electricity production in 9M 2019 by 7.3%

Mosenergo stated operational results for the 9 months of 2019.

Power plants of the Company produced in 9M 2019 43.65 bln kWh of electricity — 7.3% more than in 9M 2018 (40.69 bln kWh). This growth was the result of equipment in repair composition changes in reporting period, decline in emergency repairs and obligations to provide safety of energy system in accordance with dispatch schedule of System Operator.

Heat output from CHPPs, local and district heat stations of Mosenergo decreased by 6.4% year-on-year, down to 49.81 mn Gcal (53.22 mn Gcal in 9M 2018) due to higher outside temperature in 9M 2019.
